A Montana Foundation

Edward’s Charitable Foundation provides area residents with a means to give back to their Montana community. ECF supports healthcare, essential services, educational, civic, cultural and recreational projects in Montana and grants have been awarded since its founding.

Here at the Edward’s Charitable Foundation, we care about Montana. It’s not just the place where we live and work, it’s our home. Since our early beginnings, the ECF has worked tirelessly to create permanent philanthropy and build stronger communities. Our work with community members, charitable organizations, and local organizations plays a critical role in both philanthropic and community development. Since our founding, ECF has reinvested in Montana through scholarships, grants, and programs.

Edward’s Charitable Foundation provides personal service and local expertise to deliver the greatest impact for our communities helping ensure Montana’s future for the generations of Montanans to come.

The ECF is solely funded by James Richard Edwards and will continue to grow into a significant sized foundation to benefit grant needs in Montana.

There are two trustees who will manage the ECF for years to come. The two trustees are Marie Ann Beck who has experience in her work at the Board of Equalization in California and has a Accounting degree from Chapman College in Orange County California. James Richard Edwards is the sole provider of assets to the foundation and spent over 40 years in a family paint manufacturing business that was based in Los Angeles California. The business was named Dunn-Edwards Corp.

The co-trustees reside in Darby and Polson Montana.
